Default My first quilt- Grandpa's Marine Lap Quilt w/ Pockets

This is my first quilt, I did a little free motion quilting in the middle around medallion and the eagle, and the rest was my standard pressure foot/feed dog (what should that be called?)
I have lots of room for improvement on my quilting, but I was pleased with my piecing skills. Feedback and tips are appreciated! I did do all of this on a hand-me-down Brother.
I added a pocket on the second row that is fleece-lined.

Congratulations!! Your first quilt is awesome and you get double kudo's for making it for a vet. Beautiful job and super impressed that you quilted it on your own, too. There is no stopping you now.
