Kay, I have received my quilt top.

Many thanks ladies for all the beautiful work you have done on my top. I didn't really expect it to be so large which just goes to show how spatially challenged I am  It is bright and colourful, totally not me but I am still really pleased with it. Thank you all so very much. I shall send it up to my friend to be quilted when I am able to do so.

Vicky I hope to have yours finished and ready to post out in a week. I am so very sorry that it has taken me so long to do. I had almost completed the last of the borders when I discovered that I had not made the entire block (had left out the centre) so had to undo all the blocks and add the missing centre. Of course this didn't work out at all so I have had to start again (for the 3rd time). I did tell you I am spatially challenged! Anyway I threw out all the first blocks and started again with the complete pattern only to discover that it still was missing something or I was. Either way I had to think again and change direction. This time it looks like I am going to make it.

How is every one else going? Did you receive your top Kay? Have to confess I have been too busy to keep up with what is going on in here.

Be safe and enjoy your weekend ladies,
Maybe1day

Kathleen, I am sorry you have had to do that last border so many times. I know it will be great when it is finished.
Now you HAVE to post a picture of your finished top- we have been waiting for WEEKS to see it!!!

Kathleen...I loved your top! I lean more to the dark and bright colors...It can have a home in America if you don't want it...LOL. Maybe it will grow on you. I have not received my top as yet. Have email Margaret a couple of times and she said she was working on it so Maybe1day...LOL. Stuff happens and I learned a long time ago not to sweat the small stuff...the wait just makes it more pleasurable when the end results happens!!!

Here are four of the six finishes for our group all in one place. maybe1day has let me know she will be mailing mine soon and I will post pics when it arrives. Hers is at the longarmers and she will post the finished pic when she gets it back- (sure wish she had posted on before it was quilted so we didn't have to wait longer ;))

Stopped in to see all your tops and am amazed at each one of them, they are wonderful!! I am interested in knowing about the RR swaps, where is the thread that explains how they work?

As requested here is the photo of Vickies's centre which I hope she likes after all is said and done.

Sorry but mine is still away with the LA and a recent email from her indicated that it may not be completed till December. I will post a photo when she comes back home though.

Cheers

Kathleen, it looks fantastic! Thank you for all your hard work, and stretching yourself on the paper-pieced corners. It is a perfect finish for the top, and I am looking forward to getting it home and quilted.
