Has anyone ever gotten a virus while opening links here?? I think I just did and can't even remember what link it was...

I got one back in March, but my Norton's Antivirus caught it.

I haven't from here but I'm very cautious about Facebook. I hope it doesn't mess up your computer too much.

You can click on a link yesterday or days ago, and it will stay dormant for a while too. They do not always immediately rear their ugly little heads right away.

Always take care on clicking on any link, no matter where you are :wink: :D:D:D

I guess I was just hoping people weren't so mean. My main computer just quit from it...hope my DH doesn't shoot me!!

Yes i did about 7 or so days ago, i sent the link that was talking about the smart phones finding your computer information by by the posting of a pix, had to reformat my hard drive and it made my daughters PC crash

sometimes those links will get the virus and show up months later...not necessarily somebody being MEAN, at least not HERE and not intentionally!

NOT true...just a lady have her MAC crash and she lost years worth of stuff that even they could not retrieve for her!
