My SIL has small quilt shop. She showed me the Juki 2010 and I played with it. I fell in love with it. I am going to buy it. Looks like it is going to cost about $1200. Does anyone have any thoughts or concerns about it. I machine quilt about 12 quilts a year on my singer embroydery machine so it will definitely get used

Thank you, the arm is way larger than what I normally quilt with and I love that it has thread cutter, and speed control without all the bells and whistles that I have on my singer.

I've heard only good things about that Juki, but $1200 seems high to me. Other SS machines like the Brother P1500 are going for $600-$1000. Babylock, Janome, Elna, Pfaff, & Viking all have SS machines with a 9" throat. The Juki 98 has a couple versions (E? Q?-I forget) for $700 & $900 respectively. Check out reviews and discussion on patternreview.com.

I have the Juki TL 98 Q and love it for quilting and piecing. I paid about $600.00 a few years ago. What a workhorse.

I have the Juki 98Q and I LOVE it! I paid $900 for mine about 4 years ago. It is a fantastic machine.

The amazon doesn't show me a close up. The one I looked at looks so much like the 2000 that it is uncanny. On all other sites, they are listed to be put on a list, so I don't know what to think.

I texted my SIL and asked why she is so much more expensive than on line--Boy that will get a rise out of her. LOL

The list price $1200 for that machine. That'a lot of profit for your SIL if she is the dealer and getting it at dealer cost.
