Is it watery blues?

Passionate purples?

Hot flaming hues?

Colors of the earth?

A little bit of everything?

What's in your stash?

I have some of EACH! However, when you look at my shelves, there are more blues than any others.

I don't have a lot of them, but so far I have mostly blues, purples, and greens. Making a french braid quilt is on my list of things to do and I think I will use batiks. I'm still not sure what color palatte I will choose. I love all of them!

Yes. Oh, I mean some of everything and I'd like a lot more. I lean more to the blue/purple colors but recently purchased some blacks. If you ask what I'm going to do with them, not sure--just know I love them and had to have them. (Sound like a spoiled 2 yr old, don't I?)

Here's a pic of one of my stash drawers. I have 2 drawers, about 240 yards stashed like this and 98% of the fabrics are batiks. The other drawer is just very visible above with some of my greens showing. Also have large yardage pieces, all is in a range of colors.

Sadly I must say I don't have any.... yet. I am just a beginner so my stash is VERY small but slowly growing. Gotta say that I think from athomesewing's pics above I'm really likin the purple and blues

 Athomesewing!! I want a batik stash like that too! I have a wide range of colors. I have been collecting them for a floral applique quilt. The Elenore Burns one from the old time newpaper articles.

My batik stash isn't as large as I would like it to be...mostly cuz they seem to be more costly than standard cotton. but I LOVE batiks.

warm quilt hugs, sue in CA
