So how do we contact these people? Just contact them on here and ask if they are willing to work with us?

Their videos are short, most average 3 minutes.... I don't know if that makes a difference on dial up or not?

I tried the video hoping that it would work but it's like a seconds worth of video and then it has to sit and load for 5 minutes. I just can't do it.

Rubia please tell us alittle about what you want to learn about quilting.

Right now I'm working on a pinwheel quilt. I chose it because I found a tute that made it pretty easy to piece.

I would like to learn binding and more advanced piecing. My weak areas are cutting my pieces and having them all be precise, making and sewing binding, and consistent seam allowances.

I'd also like to get into quilting bees and block swaps. I'm hoping that by being forced to create a few blocks of a different pattern, I'll start gaining confidence. Doing a few blocks for a swap is much less intimidating than an entire quilt! :)

Rubia I've added you to the quilt adoptions group. So if you see someone you want as a mommy or daddy please pm them. If they agree then you or they can contact me and I'll add it to the Quilt Adoption Board. Please let us know how your quilt progresses.
