It says to use iron-on.....just to give it some body.

I have made these placemats and they are very easy to do and lots of fun. I have the template but it isn't really necessary as long as you cut all the sides exactly the same.When they are finished it is like a book and you can just flip the pages for a clean placemat. Great for grandkids!
