I just re-read your message and I misunderstood when you said you put a dishtowel under the bowl. Thought you used the dishtowel as a "bib"

Thanks Belmer. I am making these for our local animal shelter to sell ( seen them for $10.00 online ). To speed things up instead of all over quilting I just make a large X to hold the fabric and batting together.This way I can string quilt and it goes much faster. I also put a small heart in the center as a last step to represent the animals. Some hearts are pretty good and some a little wonky, but some animals are in more need help than others.
I have also been giving them to friends and relatives to try to get the word out. It is amazing how everyone goes crazy over these and everyone needs one! My husband and I use them when sitting in front of the TV and I have heard they are great for ice cream. Thanks again.
