Are the fabrics tacked down again after folding toward the center where they overlap so the block can be used on something washable? |

http://naomi07.blogspot.com/2008/12/...a-step-by.html Someone posted to this thread that they would like a tutorial in English. I thought I would give it a try. When I stacked them, I placed them on my cutting board and used the lines to place them at 1/2" intervals. I tried to place the top fold of the stack as close to the center of the background as possible. Thanks QuiltnNan for the tip. |

Can anyone tell me why I only get little exes under the instructions. No pictures. All I got was the first picture of the red fabric folded twice. This has happened before . MNM :-([/quote]
MNM, there can be several reasons for this. Assuming you're using Internet Explorer, check this page to see possible reasons, and how you might correct it: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/283807 |
LOVE THE TUTE! My sister made a number of these as gifts a few years ago but she called them "Rising Stars". After all the folding was done, she snapped them into the round embroidery hoops, which were perfect for hanging on the wall. Now I can do them too!
|
Great tute, your Dahlia turned out so pretty, great colors also.
|
Thanks so much--it's beautiful! I can't wait to try it.
