Yes. It is just like when you do the other kind of binding. You fold it stitch to the BACK side edge and bring it to the front instead of stitching to front and bringing to back of quilt.

Thanks for posting this tutorial. I have done something similar, but did not take the time to record the measurements for later, and I'm sure your widths add up so I won't have to 're-invent the wheel' next time. Thanks, too, for pointing me over here to get a better look at this adorable little quilt. It's even better close up!

Had to look twice at your pictures and THEN only read the instructions - hmmm working backwards does not help. :) Very clever indeed - why i did not think of that before i do not know. Well done. Will use that technique in future.

I notice how hard it is to hand sew the binding on, my hands hurt after a few hours of doing that. I don't do as good of a job at hand sewing as some of my other quilting friends.

I have done what you said on some baby quilts, but on the bigger ones I did hand sew them on.
