I'll post week 2 PDF in the week 2 tutorial. I just haven't had a chance to do it yet. My DH who once was in his room and wouldn't leave our bedroom for depression(he has a TV and computer and movies etc in there) now wants to go out to eat about every other day! LOL I hate to say no as we used to work hard to pry him out of the house. But now I am gone too much and find it hard to keep up!! LOL

" I figured it out!! YAY!! Thanks Rhonda for a great tutorial"

Disregard message below!! LOL

Hi Rhonda... your class is amazing but I am having some problems. I made my HST block and went back the screen with the 9 patch on it to add my blocks and I am getting an error message that says "cant set drawing on base layer of quilt. Please use layout options to remove restriction." What do i do to fix this? I am using EQ5. Thanks for your help!!

Here is an answer that was posted on Class 2. I hope it helps!

In EQ5, Go to File, click on Preferences, a box will pop up. Look at the tabs and click on Layout Options. You have several boxes that have check marks in them, uncheck the following boxes, Prevent motifs from being set on layer 1 and prevent uncolored drawing from being set on layer 1 then click OK and try it again. That should fix the problem. Hope this helps!! This is what worked for me on Tutorial 1.

Yes, it is software that allows you to design quilts. EQ stands for Electric Quilt.

I see PDF files for all the others. Am I missing something here or how do I find the PDF file for lesson 1? Thanks.

Hi Rhonda--just went through this thread tonight--or should I say this morning. In regards to selecting an "offending" line; on the left side bar--top button with the arrow pointing NW. Click on it (Pick) then click on the offending line and use the delete key on the keyboard to delete the line. Love EQ!!! Thanks for helping out on this. Now will go check the next tutG

Thanks Gladie I haven't tried this yet. I am too used to just using edit but I know it will only delete or undo 2 or 3 and then you are stuck. Next time I will try this.
