If you use a 2 1/2" template the quilt block will come out to be 12 1/2" if your seam allowance is 1/4". Some have made it and their seam allowance wasn't quite 1/4th so it came out closer to 13". So be careful to be as exact as you can. Course if you use the same seam allowance for all of your quilt blocks then it won't really matter.

You can also change the size of the paper patterns and use a different size template to make a different size quilt block. I have a version of the paper patterns that are for a 3 1/2" and a 1 1/2". They are already on QB. I can post the link if anyone wants them.

THanks everyone. I'm glad you like what I offer. I enjoy designing as it is my favorite part of quilting. so I'm happy to share with everyone. that is what quilting is about as far as I'm concerned.
