I figured it out with 3 jelly-rolls and it would come out to be about 75" x 128", so that would not work.
My suggestion is to use 2 jelly-rolls ( it comes out to be approx. 100" x 64"). Trim down the width and then add borders to give you the size you need.
Or you could add 2- 9" strips on the top and the bottom. (see picture below)
Or just add a few more 2 1/2" strips to it after you get it to that size. (You would have to add 9 more strips.)
Anyway, good luck and let me know if you need any more help!
Robin
Here's a picture of what it would look like: 100" x 92"

Once you figure out how many 2 1/2" X 42 inch strips you need, you will need to be carefull which jellyrolls you purchase. Reaon being, I boutht my strips from a website that offered 79 batik strips, all different for $32 and some change. It also offered free shipping on $50 or more. The website is www.connectingthreads.com. The strips were awesome!! They also have different sized jelly rolls, some with 20, some with 30 strips, etc. I have placed my 2nd order with them. Very nice website!!

When you say to turn your strips, does that mean each time you "half it up" you cut first then turn half of strips to the opposite side before sewing? I would like to make this pattern soon, but worry about too many like fabrics touching. Thanks!
