Riversong, turn the steam function off. I used to do all starch and press applique prep which also works with no steam.

I have a ton of these made. six inch from point to point. eight inch backings. 170 or 180 of them. soon I will put them together using mauve colored fabric background. scrappy centers.

I was at Hickory Hill Quilts, Hot Springs AR a couple of times last week on my vacation. Eddie is known there and I think the quilt in the first pic in this tut was there in the shop. I didn't think to take a pic of it. I did, however, spend a bit of $$$ there
