Thanks! The black helps hide the fact that all the blocks are not exactly the same size. I really had fun making those blocks, but I didn't pay close attention to the angles, which introduced variance on the final block size. I still love the way they all came together!

This is great...thanks for sharing....your instructions are just fine. I had already figured the side pieces needed to be bigger. I've had the paper-pieced foundations for years and haven't sewn them because it just seemed too tedious. I think I can donate them to my guild's next white elephant sale and use your instructions to make the block. Thanks again.
