This is really a cute quilt!

I have one question, tho--- In picture #10, you say to cut off the ears, but in picture #11, they are still on the squares. Does it really matter if you cut them off or not??

Thank you for this great tutorial. I am a visual learner, so these awesome pictures really tell the story! This project is definitely going on my bucket list of what to do with my scraps. I love, love making HSTs so it'll be right up my alley. I can definitely see the white replace with black or gray.
