Kate, I like both your Gift and CopyCat selections----but of course I may not be totally objective!!
I am still waffling between my grays and b&W prints!!

I'm grounded! Until taxes are finished, I'm just able to tag along! Oh me, oh my!! Nose to the grindstone time, but I can bake some brownies and scoop out ice cream and top that with whipped cream though, for anyone who wants some. I'll keep the instructions as you go along...this looks like so much fun...13 fabrics!! Wonder if the train will stop at any fabric shops along the way. When taxes are done, I will need neutrals. Already know that much!! See you soon with brownies!

Oddly enough, the white is exactly the same fabric in all photos - for some reason the third pic it looks much duller lol.

I think I've decided not to do a 4x size kids quilt, but instead just make 3 runners, one in each colour-way.
Overall it'd be 25% less work, but will also give me a head-start on some Christmas pressies too lol.

    Thank you all for looking
    cheers, K

Next clue is tomorrow and I still need to pick out my fabrics. What can I say, it has been a busy week. Will have to scrounge in my stash tonight when I get home.

ok, think that I have chosen this assortment of fat quarters...'E' is RJR "Optical white" ..... the scattered fatquarters at the top are "on the bench" but ready to play if needed.

was tempted to use small and smaller dots for A,B,C,D, and some whites with grey&black print for light neutrals and blacks with white prints for med to dark neutrals......but ended up with stuff all over the table and a headache...so going with the first group pulled from those fat quarters .... and know that I will make more than one anyway.

Just a few more hours and a sleep and the clue will be here
