I chose a deep gray "Jinny Beyer" at the show, thinking of doing the large triangles all the same....but auditioning it I think maybe not....it is feathers and I really like it, maybe for the next project....I have 10 inch blocks and a bunch of fat quarters that I won at an event.....soooo think I will try really scrappy.

Ooohhhh, so fun to see everyone's blocks grow! I probably can't get mine posted until the end of the week...looking forward to getting the large triangles added this week!

I've been debating the lights for my triangles and I'm glad I waited to see some of the completed blocks here.. I've decided to do the scrappy instead of controlled. With all the snow expected tonight thru tomorrow I'll be snowed in and that's perfect for sewing...hope the electric doesn't go out..

Lovely blocks! I'm still working on mine. My scrap pile of blues/darks has run out and now I'm having to "go fishing" for more.

P Diva - great contrast with your dark triangles, look good.

Bluebonnet - like the red/yellow triangles, very striking

Have anyone talked to Cheryl/Sulabug? She's been on the past few mysteries, I miss her cheery voice.

Everyone's blocks are beautiful! My inner blocks also finished at nine inches, but I'm going with that. I have the outer triangles cut and will sew them tomorrow. This is so much fun. I don't have a lot of scraps or a large stash, but I've come to like scrappies very much because of the great patterns Judy has provided. Thank you, Judy, and the rest of you, for so much inspiration!

Here's my first one. I think my "pieced pieces" made it a little TOO scrappy.

Here it is again, but with "Photoshopped" sashing.
