Okay, here's my yellow/pink/green/black one, complete with feet. I may add a thin green border; not sure yet. Can you tell it's cold outside? Brrr! It's 19 degrees this morning.

Well said! Judy has done a marvelous job of creating easy to understand patterns with plenty of pictures. Not an easy thing to do I am sure! Plus she is very gracious about letting us travel on our own path when our quilts speak to us differently. I am happy I found this train!

I love quilt with feet! Very pretty quilt too! The pink stars really pop with that yellow.

Thank you, Dotty, I appreciate your support, and those of you who echoed Dotty's comment. Sdeaaz, I just hope I didn't hurt your feelings.

Dotty, you are a sewing maniac -- woo hoo -- love this third version too.

And Mary, beautiful pop with the dark stars. So you have no more blue? Wow, I'm impressed, you got rid of a hunk of fabric with no leftovers. I can never manage that!

Moonrise, love the look of the controlled colors in your large triangeles. Lovely quilt.

    Such lovely finishes!
I've decided to try a block at a time QAYG method with mine. Have four blocks done on the SID so far and one strip (front and back) of sashing on one. Will see how this works out as I've never tried it before. And just to make things more challenging I'm trying the stars on both sides, since it seemed like it would be pretty that way. As I said, we shall see. . .

Thank You Again Judy for doing all this for us. I will be ready for the next trip. I sure did enjoy this one. Also learned some things . I think I am ready for more adventure now.. step out of my comfort zone, as they say!!!

    beautiful finishes ladies.
can someone tell me why everytime I iron a batch of fabric to be cut the next day.
my kitty Zoey goes in at night and takes it down an makes a nest of it. I will have
5 pieces of fabric on my chair, put two ironed pieces on the chair, and she will take
down just the ironed pieces. it's not coz they are warm, this is hours later. I wake
up to a pile on the floor. what gives. now I have to re-iron them.
