dang, I'm glad somebody is getting confused on the spelling of the patties.
I thought one was patt-i and the other was patt-y, but I keep forgetting who is who...spelling i mean.
    I wonder....
    I wo-wo-wo-wo-wonder

When I cut out the scrolls, there is not much fabric in the middle to turn under on each side. We went on a road trip today and I bought 20 new batiks to finish the remaining 10 blocks. I am still looking for fabric similar to what she used for the outer border and cannot find anything I like. Has anyone else found it?

Yes Patti...its me...the "other" Patti. I have to add 4 extra blocks because I enlarged my quilt....you can do a few extra if you'd like....maybe 19 and sounds like a couple of 30??? LOL! I'm on 30 now and it isn't nearly as bad...just a few scrolls, the other pieces- while there are alot, they aren't hard.

    LOL...to confuse you more Mousie....we BOTH use an "i"!! I am Patti....she is Pattis...LOL!

Patti- after I screwed up several scrolls due to that, I finally learned to cut them a little larger and trim them down AS I am sewing. I trim a little, take a few stitches, trim further....and so on.

Here is my block 25. The piecing was a lot easier than 19 but all of that embroidery took forever. I'm looking forward to block 24.

Beautiful block and all that time on the embroidery was worth the lovely result.
