Oh my gosh, these blocks are so de-lish! I can't wait to get into this. And if the blocks are this complicated, I WILL learn paper piecing.

    Great job, ladies.

Pam P your Mollie and Monette are so pretty. Cute playful summer time print in your Monette. The orange and yellow compliment each other in your Mollie.

    Hi Sewbizgirl!!

Honchey, I am glad your husband is ok. Still, I am sorry you both had to go to the emergency room.

I hope things look up at your home soon, Honchey!

Some summer-ey-looking blocks you girls have made! I like that yellow flowered fabric you used for the background on Mollie. I've been trying to collect yellow background fabrics to finish my Jacob's ladder quilt top-- your block reminds me of that. (I should get back to sewing it...)

    Isn't that umbrella-beach fabric cute!!

I've twisted my corners around on Mollie, I see. Oh, well, it's done now! I won't be re-sewing them the correct way.
I cut out those 48 tiny squares individually for Monette, sat down to start sewing them, and then remembered QNS's tip for quick sewing. Hahaha! It was such a good tip too! I wish I'd remembered before I cut out the squares. :-p 57 pieces on Monette! And 53 on Mollie!

Givio your two blocks are very pretty. They sure do have a lot of pieces don't they? I like your floral with your blues in the first one, and the bright color in front of the dark background on the second one. The dark background reminds me of a cityscape as if I am looking at a bunch of buildings out the window of flowers.

    Pretty blocks Givio!

I saw that beach umbrella fabric in one of Honchey's early blocks I think, and when I saw it in the store I had to have it.

Yes, Mine is purple, the red is gorgeous....

Givio, you're blocks just brightened my day...

Some of the customers of ours is making a memory quilt for the mother of a fallen warrior..He is from the local area and died in Afghanistan.. They meet every Sunday at the Gallery and I'll see what it looks like today Everytime I think about it I'm crying. His clothing is in a shopping cart in our storage room..I feel if I touch them I'll start crying again..I'll take some photos and post them tonite.
