Oh Shelley, it's beautiful. I like when you chose your centre square, you used two different fabrics, almost gives it a 3 dimensional look, gorgeous!!! Mines on the way!!! lol lol lol

Well i did it. It was really hard to do, and took me 5 hours. But i wanted to try and do a Y seam. It was really hard to do the Y seam, and i don't know if i ever want to do another one, but i did do it, and i'm really glad i did. My block isn't a good 12 1/2"'s, it's a bit small at 12 1/4"s, doing the Y seams seemed to really distort the size, because before that my sizing was real good. I've wondered if i could do a pattern with Y seams, or if altering a pattern and getting rid of Y seams is better, i think this was a good learning experience for me though, but next time i would do it without the Y seam lol :) :) :) Anyways, here it is...colours are brighter than photo shows lol

Does anyone know? I want to keep adding borders to this block, i guess because it's already starting out with mitred borders, i guess i need to keep doing mitred borders? Yikes, more Y seams, but i think that's the only thing that makes sense to me.

    Barb, I think it's a pretty block.
Nope, I don't see why you would have to keep doing Y seams in it. Take a look at a couple of the Round Robin pictures. I know there is one, but maybe 2 that have mitered borders and then the next border isn't. They came out nice.

ShellyQ and Barb, your blocks are great. This was a hard one for me. My block shrunk and is a little "puffy," but it was a great challenge. Thanks for the BOM DonnaRae!
