Awesome!!! I have mine sewn. I am removing my papers now, and then I need to trim them.

You're not that far behind! I only have a few QST made and others cut. I also only have about 2 doz strings done. Not sure I'll get a lot more done before the holidays. So not to worry.

Dummy me . I didn't quite read the instructions right. I was trying to make all my string blk with 5 strips. If I read it right
I would of been done a few days ago instead of just finishing them this morning. Once I started sewing more strips it movwed alond nicely. Also we bblew a fuse in the house which reset my machine to normal sewing. I forgot to reset it to the 1.5 stich and it was hard to get the paper off and I ripped a few seams out. Just thought I would let everyone know to help them from making the same mistakes I did.

Wow congrats to all on finishing steps! And Sheri, you are not behind, I am getting home today and will still be picking my fabrics and going from there, I also have projects that need to be finished before Christmas so will be working on those too in between, plus baking cookies and decorating, so needless to say, I have no plans of finishing this quilt soon, I am just hoping I can make a few units of each clue so I see how it all looks like.

So far QSTs string blocks and HSTs...All things I need practice with, so my skills should improve by the time I finish this quilt.

Same thing I was thinking!! I'm sewing some, work on somethingelse, sew some more. I'm also making these bigger from the jump so that when I trim them they will be the right size!!
