gramquilter2 I wanted to check and make sure of where I purchased the designs. I thought they came from Embroidery Library but couldn't find them so went on a search As an embroiderer you would understand that we get our designs from lots of different places. Anyway I found them, yay, they are called Cuddlesome Critters 1 and 2 and can be found at Hatched in Africa. I have bought several designs from them. I have also purchased a lot of kids applique designs from OregonPatchworks under Designs by JuJu. Hope this helps..

Thanks all ... got over my "quilters block" and should be able to finish the 3rd block today.

Foggy morning here, woke up to find a hawk rustling around in my vinca, come up with a mouse, then bring said mouse to the top of the hanging basket stand for breakfast ... all within 10' of my window and morning cup of tea.

DHM, that story is hard to top this morning; moral being, life is short??? Beware of enemy who lie and wait to strike?? Or the food chain is nature's way of life?? Maybe just count our blessings and enjoy the day. Think I will settle for the latter. And contribute the "Owl Quilt' this morning.twenty five different owls.

And happy grandson who loves his quilt: Simply fabrics quilted together and it makes him happy.

    See ya' on the 3rd. . . . GP.

Thanks for all the quilt pictures! I've so enjoyed seeing everyone else's quilts.

@QNS, LOVE the owls! And that cute grandson in his 'Cars' fabric.

@DHM, your rotary cutter on cement reminds me of the first quilt I hand basted. Basted it onto the living room carpet! Live and learn.

I haven't officially picked my fabrics, although I have an idea on what I want from my stash. I'm getting anxious to start.
