So... I had a bit of quiet time today while the girls napped and the SBS book was simply calling my name... and the dishes weren't... I made my first two blocks! I'll hopefully be able to share pictures tomorrow. I'm so glad you ladies gave me the nudge to make it in patriotic colors!

Thank you, Anael... I'm liking the colors I'm working with for this quilt. Feels so good to be finally dipping into dots... I've collected way too much to not do anything with it.

I'm sitting on my hands so I won't order any more fabrics. I'm sooooooo tempted but I told myself to use stash only for both Gypsy Wife and GTSB. Maybe I need some background fabrics but that has to be it!
Why am I doing this to myself?
