I quit soaps when my kids were born. We used to watch them in high school and college- too funny!

DOOL is the only soap opera I watch since Guiding Light got taken off. I watched GL religiouly but I only watch DOOL enough to stay caught up. Which is usually once maybe twice per week. It takes them soooo long to play out a plot I can stay caught up :)

I sit with my 90 year old mother who is a loyal watcher and now I have to say I'm sort of hooked too - I try to catch it once or twice a week and find that I can keep up with it pretty well - love the convoluted ways the writers minds twist - it must be so much fun to play some of those parts! - After all being stuffed into a coffin for I don't know how long or any of the many other ways their lives are complicated - it is such a comedy - didn't get to see it today but loved it the other day when everyone was leaving the christening and opened the doors to hear Kalah state that the baby wasn't Daniel's - ok, someone fill me in - what has happened

Kayla did interrupt the christening and blurted out that Daniel wasnt the father,then her mom(can't for thelife of me remember her name) told everyone who was and that she had changed the records herself,because she didnt wnated that baby having a Kiriakis as a father.But in the middle of all the fighting,Kaylas' MOm(name?) had a stroke(I think).EJ is blackingmailing Nicole into marrying him,and she just told Brady.
I use to watch this show all the time,check in on it everyonce in awhile,happen to see it yesterday because of the commercial showing the fight in the church

They are nick - named "Days of Our Drearies" over here...no offense meant, they are not my cup of tea. I prefer real - life crime investigation or "Law and Order","Midsommer Murders","Pie in the Sky",etc.

I watch it every day. When I was working I recorded it. Now I am retired. It is the only one I watch. I think I watch it because of the twist and turns in their lives. You never know what to expect.

Caroline is Kaylas Mom's name. She used to be a nice lady and now she is turning in to a witch.
I have watched Days for years, but when Marlena was 'possessed' that kinda killed something for me. As usual, Stephano (the Phoenix) has to have at least 20 lives. It's a modern day fairy tale.
