I just got in my exercise for today. I don't always get that in with my lupus friend, but I had to go over the front yard so it could be mowed with this nice warm weather. With my fur babies there is always something in the yard after winter that needs picking up, and thrown away. My yard is huge living in the country.

Cindy, be careful starting to walk again. You've been sick and don't overdo yourself and get sick again. Just take it easy!

Always careful when getting back to exercising. I don't want anything else to cause me problems.

I had my weekly date tonight, we went for fish, I had grilled tilapi and he had fried catfish. Then where we had dinner is at like a large outdoor mall, so we walked around since it was a nice comfortable evening. I had a great time. I enjoy spending time with him.

Cindy it sounds like you and your date had a nice evening. How long have you known him, if you don't mind me asking.

We have known each other for years. have been doing the weekly dates for about 11 months now. He is 18yrs older than I am, and we enjoy each others company. We have a great time each week, dinner, movies, or back to his place for the hot tub and relaxation.

    Ask me anything.

I am motivated by how well everyone is doing - I was out of town this weekend and was pretty good up till yesterday which involved a pizza blow-out followed by a margarita and candy bar. But when I weighed this morning was only up 1 pound from where I was when we left so am back on tract today and determined not to beat myself up but just move forward. I have my FQ and will send it off in the morning! Keep up the good work everyone!

Dad's out of ICU and doing better and so am I. I had hubby drop me off at my mom's last night and then I walked home. My youngest brother has diabetes and wants to lose 20 pounds. I'm determined to do it first.

Good news about your dad. Hope he continues improving every day. Nice way to get some exercise in by walking home. Nice to have someone who you are trying to beat in the weight loss.
