Default Crazy question - about "Cheepy" diapers

I bought a package of diapers - not knowing anything anymore about them and what I wanted/needed. I wanted to make baby bibs for an upcoming GGSon. Well, I opened them and threw them in the washer. I thought they were awful to begin with but thought they make shrink and not be so like gauze that they were. Other than using as rags, any ideas. I wouldn't even think of donating them - who'd use them?

Thanks for any input about my garbage....LOL.

Wierd - I just tried to post a picture (always post pics on here with no problem) and I get a message that says this app doesn't have permission to post pic and to make the change needed in my privacy settings. Haven't changed any settings and in the privacy setting it say that any app requesting permission would be listed and none are listed.

use them like batting, make cute flannel bibs/burp cloths and use the diapers for thickness

I had a similar problem when I bought a package of "flour sack" dish towels and had planned to embroider the a days of the weeks motif on them. They are now my test fabrics.
Kathy has a great idea of making them into bibs and burp cloths.

Sometimes I wonder why they make such trash - it is very annoying.

I bought the ones that said flannel diapers. There are a different type that are almost like cheese cloth.

I'm with Kathy...use them in a baby quilt as batting, or dust cloths for the home would be alright. Even filling for pot holders. I would hate to waste them if they can be used elsewhere.

I would return them. It is a waste of money to me. Why not use flannel for bibs that's what I use.

Cloth diapers are great for the kitchen. They are absorbent. They wipe up spills and dry dishes fast. Also great for windows and appliance surface cleaning, dusting, and covering food on the table.
