We use our toaster oven a lot. We not only make toast in it but bake it as well when doing something too small to heat the larger oven for. Good for open cheese sandwiches. I even cook bacon in it--no grease splatter with this method.

Haven't read all the posts but - yes. I hate heating the big oven for a small pan of cornbread. Makes really good toast too.

I use my toaster oven ALOT. I prefer to bake meat. It's alot healthier. Wouldn't be without one.

don't have time to read all...I have a Superwave...it's a knockoff of the Nuwave, but my mother is convinced it is better.
She told me about it and I got one and love it.
    It's a convection oven.
My stove was purchased by my husband at a time that I was too sick to leave the house etc. and we've never liked it, especially the oven. (gas stove, which I've always had, but unable to adjust the carbon/pilot setting.)
Anyway, since dh is diabetic, I've all but replaced using the oven with this product and mine was 69.00 which is very comparable to the price of a toaster oven and cooks like a dream.

I use it once in awhile to heat something up. I really don't "cook" much in it.

I did finally (after reading all the comments) bought a toaster oven. It is small and doesn't take up much counter space. I use it all the time for roasting veggies to baking chicken breasts. I find that there is a learning curve with the toaster oven. It cooks quicker than my regular oven. I really like it.

I have one and love it. Toast, broil, bake anything you want. No heat from big oven in summer.

I couldn't fix meals w/o my toaster oven . I use it daily. (if I cook) There a just two of us ,so there is no reason to use the big oven . But each to their own .

My Black and decker space saver is now 20 years old and used every day. Paid $90.00 for it so I do think I got my moneys worth.
