My mom puts a fan in her bedroom window and turns it out not in so it will draw the air through from the window in the bedroom across the hall.

But my DH was in Viet Nam and has to have all the windows closed and locked and covered! So no open windows ever!
I used to go around and open the curtains during the day and he would go behind me closing them. I finally gave in. I do open the curtains in the living room some days and he has learned to deal with it if it isn't for all day.

So a fan in the bedroom is a must!!

I used to, till mom took it for her own use... I sleep right under the air conditioner... but it doesn't blow down... just out and over... and since I'm along the same wall, I don't get much...

I have to have a fan on me at all times when I sleep!!!

Your not crazy, you might need to add another one!! I have a ceiling fan going, a box fan and an osculating fan going all at once when I sleep. My poor grandbabies have to wear their winter pj's when they sleep over!

We don't have any air conditioning. We run our ceiling fan in our bedroom at night!

You are not alone. Jim and I do the exact same thing. I like the air movement too.

Mine is sort of like fleece and is so soft. Another sensory thing for sleeping! LOL So in the summer I still have the AC on in the deep heat of summer and the fans on and am curled up in my blanket to sleep. I sleep so much better that way than having the AC off and no blankets. People would call me crazy for sleeping like it is winter time but it is more relaxing that way. When it does get colder outside it may be too cold to have the air on my face but I still have the fan on just turn it backwards and it moves the air without having the air right on us. Works for us! Dh isn't as tied into haveing it on but he enjoys it too when I turn it on.
My husband is a twitching sleeper. Man, would drive me insane with all the moving around. We bought a sleep number bed. SOOOOOO much better. I hardly EVER feel him move anymore. And we got ours on sale for almost half price. It was amodel they were discontinuing. LOVE my sleep number bed!

I run a window fan and a ceiling fan during the summer. My upstairs bedroom doesn't have a vent so I need it to stay cool.
