It's the law here in Tenn. but so few people obey it. Further, few people anymore use their turn signals. Hubby and I make a game of it to see how many people actually use their signals when turning.

Glad you made it home safely. Mass to Jersey can be difficult at the best of times! I run with my headlights on ALL the time! With this country's current population of more than 314 million people, I want to be SEEN when I'm on the road.
One of my pet peeves...Have you ever noticed how difficult it is to see tail or brake lights on a red vehicle, especially when the sun is shining?

Our lights go on when you turn on the ignition.

It is the law in California, but I don't think it is in Nevada. Even though we moved to Nevada, I still drive with them on when it's raining. It just makes me more visible and I have a white car.

I always did have my lights on in the rain when I lived in RI and now also in Fl. where it is the law if you have to use your windshield wipers you must use your lights or get ticketed. You would think people would just do it especially in heavy rain so you can see someone coming. Sue
