I'm afraid to admit my home does scream 'quilter lives here'. I have quilts everywhere - my entryway, back of my couches, basket of rolled lap quilts, wall hangings, bed quilts and of course on my sewing room walls. I sometimes think overkill but all of my friends love coming to my home to see what's on the walls now since I change them often.

Just little quilts here and there... nothing too noticeable til you get to MY room...

There I have my ancient Kenmore, my new Juki, and under the table my Brother.. Lots of OLD quilts on a rack, strips for the one I'm making now, easel with a couple of unfinished doll quilts...

Teddy bears, dolls, books about dolls, books about quilting, queen size bed, massage chair... It's a big room, but packed full of my toys..

My DH made a display ladder for me and today I put it in the living room with 4 quilts on it. So now when you come in the front door you will know I'm a quilter. Now think I want a couple more display ladders for more quilts.

No, the entry way & the living room, the kitchen do not have anything quilty in them. Yet! If you go down the hall and see the 2 bedrooms with wall removed to make 1 lg room, well yes it totally screams that a quilter lives here. In the main bathroom, nobody has ever used the tub or shower. They always go to the master bath. So guess where I store my battings? In that main bath tub hidden by a shower curtain. Why waste room that can be used? Works well.

Mine doesn't say I am a quilter. It just make people wonder what I do all day since it's apparent I don't spend my day cleaning house.

Nope. The only thing that might hint is my treadle but I have it closed with a decoration on it.
