I'm sorry, but who washes their walls so often? I'm beginning to think that I'm a real pig.

    I love it!
My dear late mother was a neat freak, I rebelled and went the total opposite. I do wish I kept a spotless house...what can I say... My DH knew when he married me that I was NOT Miss Suzihomemaker. And at this age, I can't see me changing much for the better. And with 3 hairy dogs that shed all the time and 2 cats, to stay on top of all that hair, I would have to be vacumning 20 hours a day! No thanks, life's too short.

I watch "Hoarders". That gets me fired up to clean and especially toss out.

I'm kind of a neat freak, but I like quilting more than cleaning! I clean the house thoroughly every Friday so it's clean for the weekend (and for company! :-)) and then I give the house a quick once-over again on Monday. When I quilt I try to tidy up before I start supper, and I clean the kitchen after every meal.
I use a microfiber mop and cleaning cloths that I can just throw in the washer when dirty.

Me too!! Everytime I watch that show, I look around my house to see if I am hoarding something! :-)

I do pretty good on the cleaning. Dusting not so much, but generally everything is picked up and neat. I know I have spread clutter when DH starts picking things up! I can't stand it when things are really sloppy and messy. A little bit of clutter is about the most I can handle.

Timers...do 15 minutes at a time, then QUIT and go on to another room. You can come back to this room later, for 15 minutes.
She also has routines that help to keep the house in order. That way it does not become the monster house. Give her web site a try or get her book Sink Reflections. Easy bathroom read. Clean your sink. K

    You're supposed to dust baseboards?

When my daughter was about 3, I remember having a conversation with someone, and dusting was mentioned. My daughter tugged at my pants and asked, quietly, "Mommy, what's dusting?"
