I have 9 cats and a dog. All the cats came from the local shelter.

I have four cats: Chloe, Maggie Moo, Chewy and Molly. They all love getting on anything I lay on the floor to work on.

We are a one cat family, Maui(named after our favorite island. She and Bryn are close companions. They were adopted together at the SPCA. Avatar shows them napping in the kitchen yard.

I like to have two cats, but am currently a one cat person. Penny is 16 and hard of hearing(old age), but it doesn't stop her. She still plays and jumps, just a little slower. (see picture).

She may get a companion next year. My son has a cat, but he will be moving and probably won't be able to keep her with him, so I said if he sends her, we'll take her.
