Ok my daughter thinks l am a nerd just because l am on my new phone that gets on the internet and I am on the quitting board she just not know how much fun this is now when I am out l don't have to miss anything going on here

That's not so bad. I raised several nerds who then married (or are going to marry) nerds.

My daughter and husband called me boring because when I got a pedicure done right before the 4th I didn't get a patriotic theme painted on them or get blue with stars, I had them done pretty because I have a couple weddings to go to and didn't want blue toes!!!

My mother calls me a "gook" ....what does that mean? :lol: :lol:

I think it's a cross between a geek and a kook. My dd just says, "Mom, you're being strange again."

My family KNOWS I'm a nerd and the joke is I speak geek. My daughter says that is bad enough but the peiodic table shirts where the radioactive elements glow are a little too much to wear out to dinner. I have to admit those elements really "glow" more than I realized in dark theaters.
