    Don't be afraid to try again!
    My story is I am 81 and my hair WAS patchy shadea of light and darker gray.
    I bought a box of the lightest possible blond shade, and put it on, YaY! the gray is gone and my hair is a kind of palest champaigne color!
    With some trepidation, I went to our local senior center.
    Nobody said a word - not one!
    ....but in the following few weeks quite a few ladies appeared with new hair color! LOL!

    So funny I am fortunate don't have to dye my hair at age 60 also...hope I never do (have too).
    You are a good story teller love every word.

    Thanks so much.. I have other stories on personal diaries.. but they put them all together and it is kind of a mess to find.:)

    A very well-to-do gal I know often has bizarre hair colors because she buys the dye at the dollar store and then wonders why a lot of them are simply no good! sheesh!
