I can testify to maybe sleeping through the night without sweating. Think that may happen?[/quote]

I have been wondering (alot in denial) about what was going on with me....I could scream at someone one minute and the next be a blubbering mess and all over the most trivial things. I go to bed at night exhausted and wake up a few hours later, and I mean wide awake. I don't soak the bed with sweat, because I am a lady I only perspire, but if I could only peel another layer off (like my skin) I would be eternally gratefull. I had really bad pms before my hysterectomy....does it follow my menopause will be just as bad? I am only 46, does this mean I will have it for a long time? Oh please Lord give me strength!

I am going for a long over due physical on the 21. One of the reasons I want to go is bc of the constant hot flashes. My SIL, also my dr for non naked things, told me that he had a patient in her 90's with hot flashes. "Thanks for making my life". I wondered why all the extra air leaks  Thanks for setting me staright on that. DH has about one hot flash a month. I have to keep an extra blanket on his side of the bed all year. I can sit perfectly still and be drenched with sweat, especially in church. I have to lean forward so no part of my body, except butt is touching anything. Pastor probably thinks I'm really interested in what he is saying. Maybe some day I'll tell him the truth. His wife has just started with the flashes. Has anyone tried any natural products with success? I'm thinking of Black Cohash (SP).
