That mother's song is absolutely beautiful! I don't think you could find a better one. I also have tears in my eyes.

OMG, I'm already dreading that, can't listen to the song! My oldest son is getting married next feb. and we lost my DH last August. Don't EVEN need them kind of tearjerkers! Can I request no son/mother dance?

My all time favorite: Child Of Mine by Emmylou Harris
And our all time favorite for a father to his son: Father & Son by Cat Stevens

We have 2 boys and are heading into that time of thier lives, my husband and I have always said that these 2 songs would be at their weddings (if we have any say in it!).

    Enjoy The Day and Congratulations!!

Don't forget to have the DJ play "We are Family" for all family members only of both the bride & groom sometime after all the special dances are finished. I love that!

My son chose this song for our mother/son dance. I loved it. Makes me cry to this day when I hear it on the radio. I always end up sending him a text or calling him when I hear it.

"There You'll Be" by Faith Hill

When I think back on these times
And the dreams we left behind
I`ll be glad `cause I was blessed to get
To have you in my life
When I look back on these days
I`ll look and see your face
You were right there for me

    In my dreams
    I`ll always see you soar
    Above the sky
    In my heart
    There always be a place
For you for all my life
    I`ll keep a part
    Of you with me
    And everywhere I am
    There you`ll be
    And everywhere I am
    There you`ll be

Well you showed me how it feels
To feel the sky within my reach
And I always will remember all
The strength you gave to me
Your love made me make it through
Oh, I owe so much to you
You were right there for me

    In my dreams
    I`ll always see you soar
    Above the sky
    In my heart
    There always be a place
For you for all my life
    I`ll keep a part
    Of you with me
    And everywhere I am
    There you`ll be

`Cause I always saw in you
    My light, my strength
And I want to thank you
    Now for all the ways
You were right there for me (You were right there for me)
You were right there for me
    For always

    In my dreams
    I`ll always see you soar
    Above the sky
    In my heart
    There always be a place
For you for all my life
    I`ll keep a part
    Of you with me
    And everywhere I am
    There you`ll be
    And everywhere I am
    There you`ll be

    There you`ll be

    I just love that song.
That's the song my son and I danced to 3 years ago. Loved it and he thought it was a great choice.
