wife 44 yrs in July, mother 42 yrs, grandmother 16 yrs, & office manager of 1 (myself) for 16 yrs. Retiring in 2 weeks. Then I will be able to quilt, quilt, quilt!! I just have to get the hubby to realize this is what I really want to do.

I worked as a shoe designer and pattern person,It got hectic at times when the sales people converged on the design room wanting something different.
I have been retired for about15 yrs and enjoying quilting and sewing.

I loved my teaching career (29 fantastic years), but retired and went back to school to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. Only work 5/10 days now!! More time for quilting! yippeeee!
But, I've now started what I'm calling "the great cleanout." DH and I are both packrats and 25 years in this house means time for some purging!!
