Shop Hop Disappointment
#11
I won a $10 a few months ago, ordered 2 things, about 12 worth of fabric. One wasn't available. They left a message on the answering machine. Anyway they sent the one item they did have and used the balance of the gift certificate to cover the shipping. So you might check if you can have the gift certificate for shipping too. If you wouldn't use the paper items and luggage tags yourself, couldn't you find items you could use as gifts?
The shop is probably on the shop hop because it has quilt designed items.

I signed up for the bunny one,but I don't think I will be doing it, takes waaaaay too much time away from other things I would rather do, and it sounds like the prizes aren't all that exciting anyway........

I won a gift certificate for $10. also, It was for a shop in Florida that sold purse patterns. I found one I loved but it was $12. I needed to call an 800 # to order -- got hold of the owner & she was SO NICE, she sent the pattern for free!!!

I've won half a dozen of the 10.00 gift certificates, and redeemed about half of them. Won 2nd prize one time which was 5 yards of fabric, and I got 3 white ones and 2 beige ones. I was really getting them done each month in hopes of winning an accuquilt but that never happened
