Wait until you get a little older - hair seems to be disappearing from just about everywhere OR relocating to the face! - Getting old is NOT for sissies (she says in a deep voice)

I don't shave mine, I braid it! lol ... kidding. But I haven't shaved for a while. When I had chemo last year my leg hair magically disappeared, although I wouldn't recommend that method of hair removal. :-) Now it's grown but I haven't touched it. I live and sleep alone and wear long pants to work, so who cares? I'll probably break down soon though because I don't like the way it looks.

My Uncle went through radiation treatments in the late 80's. And my Aunt didn't leave the room in time, she got a zap of his treatment. She said a few days later, her leg hair along with hair everywhere else except her head fell off. She was ecstatic...lol

I have the same issue, but the doctor prescribe a lotion called clindamycin. It lasts a long time as you only need to use a very tiny bit.

Try using some type of sugar scrub. You can either buy a jar of it or make your own. It makes a difference for me. My legs just feel better, even if they look the same.

If you make your own it's basically brown sugar and oil. There should be lots of recipes online.

My ex had alopecia smoothest legs ever, and she shaved her left armpit every three years. Unfortunately until she bough some high dollar wigs her scalp always itched. .She almost always wore a sleep hat to bed. Hair does hold heat.
