Hiya Jen from Jackie in Bangor. Good to hear you're taking a course - no doubt you'll get hooked like the rest of us. I'm glad you've joined this group - you'll get lots of encouragement and really useful tips. Perhaps we'll meet up one day in TanLan when we need to check out the new fabrics! or perhaps in a Llandegai Patchers meeting.

Hey, Jackie, can't believe there is a "local" here! How exciting! My course is actually being taught by Dorothy Russell at Llandegai. Her and another lady mentioned the Llandegai Patchers, but then said that they weren't supposed to say anything as your group is so big now. I'm sorry I missed the quilt show at the beginning of August. I had intentions to go but then my Grandad passed away quite suddenly and it just slipped my mind. Perhaps one day we could meet up so I could drool over all your creations.

Hi Jen, welcome from the High Desert of California, USA. You will enjoy quilting and if you ever get too frustrated, just stop and remember, this is fun. ha Let us see what you make in your class that you are taking!
