Welcome from SE Michigan USA. Hopefully we too will see out way out of this pandemic soon. I just received my second vaccine. So I have been making quilt top after quilt to for the last year. I completed 2 quilts and have a ton more to go. I started another top yesterday. This one is called Arkansas Traveler. I have completed 5 blocks on this one and not sure how big it is going to be. This ending winter has been filled with sewing and staying indoors. I will keep doing this as long as necessary I suppose.
It sounds as though you are one busy lady Welcome to the QB again. Hope to see a great deal of you here.

Hello from Texas! Going to EQ8 and BB+ is quite a learning curve, but we'll catch on.

The EQ blog teachers are very good, if you haven't checked them out, yet... https://doyoueq.com/blog/ Yvonne and Lori are two who teach series of how-tos on the blog site. They helped me catch up.

    A BB+ Sew Along just starting up, now - I think it's only monthly. https://doyoueq.com/blog/2021/03/blo...ong-block-1-2/ ..

This quarantine business is wearing on all of us, around the world. It's all just bizarre. But, we'll get through that, too.

Welcome to the board and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Welcome from South Louisiana. It's wonderful to see this board and all the countries that are represented. Paul Harvey used to say at the end of each of his broadcasts "It is not one World". Well, evidently he never met any quilters. We all share such a basic common goal to create new works from fabric and all of us love getting together. This has been my virtual quilting since before the Covid lockdown began. I have very few websites that I visit regularly, and this is #1.

And as for your comment about EQ8, I am still working in EQ7. I know that EQ8 will do so much more, but I just don't want a new learning curve right now. I'm hoping that if I keep putting off buying it, that there will be so many experts here that I won't stay as confused as I sometimes am with EQ7. Or there will be a newer version and maybe I can become the expert.....NOOOOOOO Never gonna happen!

Welcome from the sunny Southwest US, in Arizona! I have a lovely image in my mind of your place in the hills, it must be quite a spread to house printing presses though? Wow, you don't hear about folks owning /running those much any more -how neat! Do you keep sheep, or spin from local wool? Another hobby I'd love to have another lifetime to enjoy!

There's a "sticky" thread about EQ8 -there are many here who know much more than I, and have been very helpful!

    EQ7/EQ8 Tips, Q&A here!
