Default Anyone ever shop online at Joann and pick up in store?

I am trying to do that and once I checkout there is no more mention of free pickup in store. What am I doing wrong?

Never mind, after several tries, it finally decided to cooperate.

Awesome! I love to do this. Sometimes you can get things cheaper doing it this way. I've gotten quilting notions that were on sale online, but not in the store. I'm always checking online first if I need something and will have to go to the store to get it any way.

I got fusible interfacing (making a Tshirt quilt) for 59 cents a yard instead of 99 cents (normal price).

i did that one time. but i was in a hurry and they had the product on the store shelf when i went. i had to ask the manager to cancel my online/pickup order. he did do that by the next day and i did not get double charged.

I do this when there's a product that is frequently out of stock. For a while, I was making tote bags that needed rectangular rings for the handles. They were frequently out of stock, so I ordered them, knowing my order would be the first to be filled, before they put them on the sales floor.

I did it once. I had to wait over 20 minutes to find a check out person who knew what I was talking about. The manager had to be called and everything explained again. She sent the clerk to the back of the store to look for it. The package was found at the front counter. Took about 45 min to get it but I got it. Our Joanns's isn't the brightest in the bunch. LOL

Is your order being shipped to the store from where ever the online store is or is it being pulled from the shelf in the actual brick and mortar store of your choice.

That I don't know. I am picking it up tomorrow; I was supposed to print the email to bring to the store but I tried several times and it would not print correctly. So I wrote down the order number, hope that is enough along with my ID. I don't think I will go this route anymore with this store.
