    Default Old Country Store update

The latest information I have heard is that one of the store's employees has purchased the store and the inventory. I don't have any more information than that, but if I hear anything, I will pass it on.

    Here's a link.

    http://lancasteronline.com/business/...a4bcf6878.html

If you go to the website, it says the store is now open at the top and that online fabric coming soon. When I clicked on that banner, it went to the link above.

They are indeed open - I went today. Everything is much the same - fabric wise. They have absorbed some kitchen gadgets from the Kitchen Store and the quilt room is under construction to be opened at a later date. Lots of books! Still lots of fabric. It was fairly busy. Glad to have them back!

Great news. Thanks for the update. I have a couple of test blocks to do for a project then I might just head out there cuz I need LOTS of green and brown batiks if this works like I want it to!

I was wondering; I have a post card [that I got at the quilt show in Lancaster] that states public auction for may 24 & 31st. I looked online but there was no mention of it, so I assumed it wasn't going to happen! Good for them!
