Default Quilter's Newsletter is no more...

I was so sad to hear the news tonight that Quilter's Newsletter will no longer be published after the October/November issue. It had always been my favorite magazine.

aw. that was my favorite too. Haven't seen it in Joanns in quite awhile so that probably explains why

On no- this has been my favorite magazine. I enjoyed reading in depth about the quilters, the exhibits, etc. I'm currently making a quilt from a pattern in a Quilters Newsletter Magazine pattern from 2009. Might be my entry for the local quilt show next year!

Gosh, what a shame. For me it was the one magazine that gave us an overall industry look, not just fabrics and patterns, but news....it was like reading Time for quilters. Personally I think that's a loss for those of us who love the whole craft, but are limited in the chance to travel, take workshops from 'the big names' or attend shows across the country. Sad.

It's wasn't a favorite of mine but so sad to see such a pillar of quilting magazine fall down and no longer exist.

i agree! it was my go to all things quilting news magazine. i had just learned to quilt in ’86, perusing the media racks at grocery store & bought my first quilt magazine, Quilters Newsletter. my first quilt magazine & i subscribed. have enjoyed the news, the teaching articles, quilter profiles ...every page of every issue for so many years. i just recieved my latest issue last night & was looking forward to an enjoyable sit & read after work tonight. will be a bittersweet read now.

Very sad news! It was the only magazine I picked up every issue.

Default Quilter's Newsletter magazine has come to an end.

The last issue is the October/November 2016 issue.
