    You could make a picture quilt and use the fabric you pick up along the way too.

    I saw an idea, not sure if it was here or somewhere else. The couple buys a pattern at the first store and then on the rest of the trip they buy the fabric to make the pattern.

    I thought it was a great idea.

    Do you know why these are quilt blocks of the states? The three I clicked on were stars, and other traditional designs, but I didn't see anything that particularly depicted THAT state.

    Maybe you could find some cool pins to pin on a quilt? Also another idea is to collect postcards and then transfer them to fabric for quilt blocks
