Carrying your critics' comments to an absurd length - maybe those of us who use a sewing machine to piece, instead of doing it all by hand, are "less than" too. Just disregard any such talk. We are all quilters, as MadQuilter said, and however we do it, it's just fine. I think all-over pantos are lovely. When I want a quilt to be special, I send it out to be quilted by panto. Hold your head up high. You are "more than" most, especially those who are criticizing you.

I have a computerized longarm. I certainly don't feel that my quilts finished using my many computer patterns are "less than" and you shouldn't feel that way either. It takes skill to learn how to use a pantograph and get it to look perfect on a quilt. It takes skill to learn to set up computerized designs and get them to look perfect on a quilt.
So we don't do free motion or use rulers to do fancy custom quilting! I can not do that so I use my talents to piece quilts, and then quilt them on my longarm using the many computer patterns that I have collected. I have never had anyone look at my gift of a finished quilt and complain about how it was quilted.

Hi sweet quilt sister! Don't you EVER think that you are "less than" ANYONE!!!!

You do an awesome job quilting in your comfort zone. Pantos are relatively easy & result in perfect patterns. How DARE anyone make you feel bad about excellent work.

You are most likely way more talented than you you know, however. Following a panto is way more difficult than quilting free hand. It's just less scary. You go out & celebrate what makes YOU happy. No one "says" you must do free hand. No one says pantos are "less".

You are awesome. Don't ever doubt that. Quilt what makes YOU happy 😍 - best wishes

You, my friend, are far from "less than". You are a wonderful quilter sharing your joy! Keep it up! I, on the other hand, feel "less than" I have no idea what a pantograph is (will google!). I have never used a long arm. I am an old fashion quilter, quilting on my grandmother's wooden quilt frame! But we both MAKE THESE QUILTS WITH LOVE! So in my opinion you are "Greater than" others who make ugly comments! Sending love!
