    And I thought I was the only one. I have found some great fabrics and like others have mentioned the bigger sizes have more fabric.

    I work at the Humane Soc. Thrift Store once a week and one of the perks is that my "purchases" are 1/2 price. I'll have to start looking at the mens shirts because they would only be 50 cents. Thanks for the reminder.

    I to go to thrift stores next time you go ask in the back if they have any little black boxes with a sewing machine inside some of my quilting friends found thier featherweights that way.

    YU BET I DO AND I BUY SCRAPS BY THE LARGE GARBAGE BAGS AND MOST OF THE TIME THE SCRAPS ARE A LOT MORE THEN SCRAPS ITS YARDS,I LOVE MY THRIFT STORE.

    I go all the time, great finds for fabric, especially wool! Men's shirts are a real find, good source for lace and trims. My store has all for $1.00. Woo Hoo!

    A few years ago I got silk blouses from the local thrift shop. Backed the fabric with iron on stablizer and did a paper peiced star quilt for a wall quilt. Love the quilt top and one of these days I will get it quilted. LOL
