Love the binding process! To me it means I'm almost done, and can start another soon! Also, being from MT it's a plus...I can keep cozy warm whilst I'm sitting on the couch doing the binding!!! Win/win!!

I like binding too. I reduced thE width of my strip to 2 1/8 - nice full binding. On casual or bright colored kids quilts I like to piece the binding strips out of the leftover fabrics from the Quilt - 10 - 12" pieces using 45 degree seam. Took a class from Brenda Henning - she uses 2" binding. Turns out narrow and full. Stripes are nice for bindiNgs cut on the bias. I have been saving all my leftover pieces of binding to use on a scrap quilt.

To me.. binding is the exciting phase where you know you've completed another neat project. I like binding too.

I no longer DO 2" bindings. Life is tooo short...lol I cut my bindings 2 1/4 " and that's good enough for me.
